Barrel extending + threading ?

Does anyone in Canada offer a barrel extending + threading service?

I have a 9mm Ruger barrel that I want to have extended and threaded 1/2x28 for compensator, etc. Nobody makes a replacement barrel for this model so no point telling me to look for one.

I know ADCO in the US does this, but that's a lot of hoops to jump through sending a barrel back and forth ( https://www.adcofirearms.com/shopservices/shop_qnew.cfm?code=Handgun Barrel Threading )

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!
 
Not that I know off. Making threaded barrel extensions for pistols does not seem like a profitable business in a country that does not permit sound suppressors.

You could get a machine shop to do it but it'd probably exceed the price of the pistol to do.
 
Ya, that's what I was thinking... it's hardly worth it but it's one of those sentimental guns that I'll never sell anyways.

I guess ill look into sending it to the US. It's not like I'm in any rush
