Barrel life 220 swift

Has anyone had issues with their 220 swift having a nasty bulge near the base of the case?
I did load development on one and it was unsafe to fire for that reason. It was an AI and was chambered by a reputable sponsor.
 
I had a Ruger 77HB in 220swift, but I likely shot less than 1000 rounds through it. How long a barrel will last, primarily depends on how hot your loads are, and how hot you allow the barrel to get while shooting. You can cook a barrel in a few hundred rounds by shooting continuously and not allowing it to cool, or you can be careful not to overheat it, and have good accuracy at 2000 rounds.
