I have been reading in the Brownells Cataloge about the liners available and changing a .22 to .17 and am interested, Will a Old bolt action S/S cooey handle this??Has anyone ever done this before? Is there a Canadian Supplier to purchase the same liners and drill bits and parts and such????Any help would be great, thanks!!

If you used the .17 MACH 2 and not the more powerful HORNADAY .17MAGNUM RIMFIRE. Boring out the barrel and epoxying in a liner , then rechambering it, might be costly. And you would end up with a cheap rifle in a cool flat shooting caliber, that cost you a lot, that you can only mount crap scopes on because most Cooey single shots require a side mounted scope mount that only is for 7/8 diameter scopes. Now do the same thing to a CIL anschutz .22 clip fed repeater with grooved receiver, you would have a neat , flat shooting little gopher or squirrel gun.
