barrel lose

I have an old Ruko .22 mag that has a lose barrel in the stock. I'm not sure what "bedding" is so any help is appreciated or if it would help (screws are all checked).

how do you find it to be loose? the barrel should be floated from the stock in most cases. i would take the barreled action out of the stock and check to see if the barrel is loose to the action. you could be mistaking stock flex for a loose barrel

Thanks, i'll try that. It just has a little wiggle at the forestock and tightening the screw holding it together doesn't work. It has been sitting unused for a few years so who knows what mystery i have to work on. Hopefully tonight i can check it,I'll let you know what happens.
