Barrel Question

Ok, I can buy any barrel I want in the states and import it, but the big bad 30% sucks right now... Plus the duties...

Who, in Canada, sells Rock Creek M24 contour barrels? Or at the very least a 5R M24 contour barrel of excellent quality

Alberta tacticAL Rifle in Calgary can get Rock Creek barrels. When I ordered a rifle built with them about two years ago, RC was not taking any orders and hasn't been for about a year at that point due top am immense backlog.

Even if ATRS or another supplier in canada can get you a barrel, they'll still be passing along that 30%, duties, and plus a little extra for profit in their pockets to the buyer

I understand the confidence and pride in owning a certain brand but in my opinion, there are a lot of barrel makers putting out fine 5R barrels. Krieger, Bartlein, Benchmark, Hawk Hill, etc.

My latest barrel is a Benchmark 5r, it is shooting great and after 1000 rounds it has no tendencies to foul up.
