barrel re-registering.

when i put new barrels on my 10/22s (I have never changed barrels before)

do i have to re register or declare anything

i have two 10/22s with the 18.5" barrels and one one of them i am

1) krinker plinker kit with a 16" barrel
and
2) this is a no brainer but i am putting a longer 20" barrel on it. i know i am safe to do this.

really just curiouoys about putting a 16" barrel on... even tho on all my guns they still go over 26" OAL.

do i have to change the barrel length on the reg card?

no as long as you don't change the status of the firearm or the serial number you should be good to go, check the CFC for clarification...

No change of registration is not necesssary since your serial # is on the receiver. Barrel changeouts are perfectly legal.

on your registration cert. it should say barrel length greater than ???mm. As long as your barrel swaps don't cause you to drop below that. No problem.
