Barrel relining

Thinking of relining my Python barrel as it has a slight bulge problem due to a squib load that should not have happened but it did.
Anyone know any domestic artists that they could direct me to?
Thanks, Bill

You can reline the bore and that will take care of the bulge on the inside but won't do anything for the bulge on the outside.

The only real cure is a new barrel for your gun.

I don't think you barrel is thick enough for relining. How does it shoot as it is?

I have looked for a new barrel and they are pretty rare or so expensive I could not justify the expense and I would still end up with a gun that is somewhat of a hybrid. Because the bulge is around .020" I was concerned with the bullet leaving the rifling and then picking it up again further down the barrel. The gun was bought as a shooter before Python prices got crazy and I have no plans on selling it so a barrel reline was suggested as an alternative. It shoots fine and the way I noticed it is when I was cleaning it with a jag.
