Barrel Twist

Triumph Bonneville '76. If you don't look down approaching this bike you could break a hip. Drip drip drip...

Have a 1in 10 twist 30 SAUM Ron Smith barrel first barrel I have ever had that had five shot one hole groups at 3 different powder weights, will add some might want to learn proper trigger control if you are pulling to right

The electrics were built in the same cave then.

Norton was a joy to ride but high maintenance. About 2 hours of wrenching for every hour of riding. The basic drivetrain was good but everything else eventually either stopped working or rattled loose and fell off. I bought Loctite by the quart for that old girl.

I had a Kawasloppy much like your Norton.
I had to ride lead so that my buddies could stop and pickup the parts that fell off. Sorry for the de-rail.

Your gunsmith is smoke n' mirrors on this subject or not all that informed.... If you hold your rifle correctly, you should not be pulling. Construction will not correct for flawed marksmanship.

Regardless whether I pull my shots, or not, my gun maker builds rifles to accommodate left and right hand shooters...........he is only helping.

Well if it doesn't work out as well as you expected, you can always shoot the rifle upside down to correct for that screwball
left hand twist:p

I surprised you let me get away with that statement. Flipping the gun upside down isn't going to change the twist direction.
Everyone knows you'll have to shoot the rifle backwards over your shoulder using a mirror.

I have had 2 of his barrels. They are fine for hunting guns but I would spend the extra and get a real precision barrel. My Kreigers and Bartleins are better barrels.

I support business for my Canadian brothers as much as I can. Mr. Smith has been building barrels around the same time as Robert Hart, I believe and trust his workmanship.
