Barrel width question -kreiger and a scout mount

Hey all
Was hoping one of you helpful types could measure the width/circumference of your m305 barrel directly under the handguard (behind gas lock to op rod guide).
I've been trying to find out if a SA scout mount would fit a kreiger barrel which I believe has a medium contour. I know a utg scout mount will not fit.

Kreiger website says the contour us similar to us marine corps. But that's not too helpful for me.

I know the SA scout mount will fit a norc m305 as I did have one a while back.

Pretty much all barrel mounts will only fit a standard contour barrel. I believe amega ranges was working on one for a med weight, but i don't think its out yet
 
The scout setups I've seen using medium and heavy barrels were done by Warbird Custom. The method uses a steel picatinny, radiused for the barrel and then drilled and tapped to the barrel itself. A competent shop with the right tools can do it for you I'm sure.
