Curious what take-off barrels have enough material on them to be fitted to a Springfield 1903 and a Enfield M-1917 also the Arisakas 38 +99.All have been Bubbaed previously.

Buff, check out the sticky on barrel threads at the beginning of the section. It has most of the milsurp barrel tenon dimensions listed and you can compare them to get the dimensions.

Take-offs as in from current sporting rifles? R700s are nominally 1 1/16"-16; W70s are 1"-16.
The shanks would be too small to rethread. There might be enough shank for new threads. P'14 and M1917 along with Ross N1910 rifles require a larger than most shank.
Arisakas have more complicated breeching, along with metric threads.

I have interchanged P13, P14, M1917 and Remington Model 30 barrels into receivers - at least hand turned them in - they fit - are the unusual today "square thread" profile, not "V - groove" threads. No clue how to cut them - I suspect that a specific thread cutting tool has to be ground to make that thread shape. As per that "sticky", looks like a Springfield might have same thread and shank diameter, although the Springfield shank is shorter. I found that the BSA sporter conversions not near the battle to remove the barrels, compared to some WWI P14 and M1917 - maybe 40 less years of rusting, or something. Is not a "slam dunk" to unscrew those originals, without the receiver cracking - when unscrewing the barrel. And that is with using a proper barrel vice and a snug fitting proper action wrench.

Pulling original milsurp barrels always an adventure - I unscrewed a rusted out No. 4 barrel yesterday - that one took a good smack with a 6 pound sledge hammer on the action handle to break it loose - is a Maltby, so likely WWII production.

Virtually every barrel can be fitted to any action if the barrel fitter is capable and wants to do it. Often, the amount of work entailed is such that it is hardly worth the effort but there it is.
