BARRETT 99A1 50 BMG Rifle, 32" Barrel Kit

I know its not a .50, but what about the Barrett REC7 (formally M468)? Is it allowed in Canada?

PGW is now building 50 cal rifles. I have only seen them in assembly. Not sure if they are open to sale to the general public or not....Ross? Steve?

anyway, I can guarantee that no retailer in Canada is going to be able to obtain a 50 cal anything that is made in the US - at least, not for use by anyone except a government agency.

We are currently producing 50 cal rifles with folding chassis stock (repeater 5 rd) however it will be at least 3-4 months until available in this market.

Would love to provide pricing, etc however we are not in a position to do this yet and would like to have them on the shelf prior to taking orders....

Really? You're serious? To each his own I guess. I like tacticool as much as the next guy but that doesn't turn my crank, and neither does the detatched retina or the internal bleeding caused by bruises on my shoulder.

yeah man, i'm serious. i know it'd be dumb as hell to actually buy, and i know its a stupid thing to want, but i'm saying, if i was a millionaire or something i would most definitely purchase a Barrett .50 cal. (i figure i'd be able to own a place down in the states where i could legit. own one, in that case).

i guess you could call it a guilty pleasure type of thing.

shooting .50 isn't so bad. a good muzzle brake makes all the difference. only sucks to be the guy a few feet to either side, or downrange.

They don't kick much, but the shock wave is incredible!
I suppose all manufacturers brakes are different, but If you ever get to shoot one on a real cold day be sure to blow you nose first.....Or prepare to wipe up the mess afterward.

The 50 provides an irreplaceable experience....Unforgettable and worth the stretch.
