Barrett Model 98 Bravo

Know of friend at Genesee Gun Range, who had buddy have one of the Barret M 98bravo, order from Wolverine supplies out in Winnipeg, so if you wanted one give Wolverine a call.
 
K thanks for the replys guys, Ya I was just pondering wether or not to go with a tricked out HS Precision for long range shooting than I seen the 98B on wolverines site and the price is pretty comparable to a done up HS so I think I will go with the 98B :D

NOPE Not quite... lol altough im still surprised how I was able to hit that steel with that 60+ year old gun with military style sights at 500 yards :D and to boot! the barrel was bent and hammered back into place at one time ago :confused: or as you would say a coons age ago :)
 
I have had the pleasure of shooting one and it was actually quite uneventful. It is a beautiful gun and very accurate but at 200 yards it just seemed outta place. The muzzle break was amazing and the recoil felt less than my .308 win. Really not worth spending all that money on it unless you have the range to let her go. .308 win works just as well at 200 yards. LOL
 
For the kind of money it would take to buy the Barrett you could build yourself a custom rifle that would be built to your exact specs and arguably more accurate.

If you're going the factory route and want the best rifle available and want to save a couple thousand clams, consider a Sako TRG-42.

Agreed, and it doesnt have to shoot the mythical 338 Lapua mag, or 50 bmg to be accurate at the competitive ranges one would be using it for.

So you're saying that you were aiming for the steel on the right, but hitting the center one? :p
 
Barrett Model 98 Bravo: are a Very Nice rifle, I look at One and Touch it, it a very Robust rifle, be very nice to have one!
