You could get it nickel plated ,just do a bead blast finish the way you want course or polished.I had my colt 45 frame done.

how about bead blasting and then spraying with clear coat ArmaCoat and baking? Result will look like a matt stainless finish and the Armacoat will stick well to the textured surface.

I had my blued Rem 700 blasted and GunKoted in Titanium grey, which is baked on. You can also get brushed stainless, silver, and about 15 other colors. I had the sights done in black.
