I'm looking to buy a new spotting scope ,my bushnell is getting old and doesn't seem to be as clear as it could be anymore ,it is a 20-60X60 and after 100 yds it is very hard to clearly see holes in the paper. I have been thinking of a Barska Benchmark 25-125X88WP ,it seems to be reasonably priced within my retired budget.Does anyone have any reviews or info about these scopes .The reason I was looking at this scope was it's really the only one with more 60X that I have been able to find .Also what are most others using for target shooting , I mostly shoot only out to 500 yds. Any info greatly appreciated . Thanks John

I know a few guys that are still using their old Bushnells made in the 60's. I think a couple of them have been sent back to the factory for cleaning. I would try to see if a new eyepiece might improve things, if you can find one.

I have a Bushnell with a 15X-45X eye piece. anything over 20X was a waste of time. I now use a Kowa with a fixed 22X WA that is very clear.
