Base and mounts for a CZ 452 Varmint

I have the rifle and a scope to go with, looking for input on a quality base and rings. Want rings as low as possible but obviously high enough to clear the giant CZ bolt throw.

Your pretty much stuck with High rings if your going with any scope with a normal objective.

There are several rings specifically made for the dovetail mounts cut into the receiver, no babses required.

The other option is an adapter to change the dovetail mounts to a standard weaver rail, but then your spending a bunch more money then you need to.

There are several high quality rings made for the CZ's. I'd give your local dealer a call and ask.

If you go to rimfire central, they have a dedicated CZ section and you can look at 100's of possibilities for scope bases, rings, scopes etc... You can probably pick out the scope you want and more than a few will have it already mounted with various combinations of bases and rings. That CZ Varmint is an awesome rifle.

i bought a piccatiny rail from prophet river and used low rings. works well on my cz varmint

Big trick here is to find a scope with a relatively small or smaller ocular lense body.

Leupold 11mm, "high" rings worked for me quite nicely...

Went with BKL 200 Series Rings. I went with medium hight so I hope there is enough clearance.

Talley makes good rings. Prophet river has them.
