A fellow nut came to my aid and sold me a set of weaver 1.023" rings for my vintage S&B scope!
(My rifle presently has weaver bases so that was perfect!)
He also sold me a set of vintage redfield 26mm rings... They seem to be a lot more solid than the weavers and promise rear windage adjustment... however I am now left searching for matching bases.
Would anyone have? Or know of someone whom may have a set for my rifle ? Or if neither, would you know which model number I need? Was at a gun show on sat and received conflicting info from the "experts" haha.
Some suggested small ring HVA bases but no model number? Would the receiver contour be the same as any other action ? or is this action a one off HVA design?
Some have suggested Redfield, Leupold and Burris bases all would work but unable to confirm without a doubt which specific model number/s are for the HVA 4100.
