bases for Mark 2 Savage

I just acquired a Savage Mark ll F. The receiver is not grooved but drilled and tapped. Do you know the numbers of the Weaver bases for this rifle. It is unfired and came from a family member and will likely go down the road but I should at least put bases on it and mount a scope before selling it.

A quick google search says weaver 24 or 16 work
You can even go to weavers web page and look it up too

I used weaver #16...no issues.

You need 2 weaver # 16 bases . you may also need to shorten the screws as they may protrude into the bolt race .
