Basic Rifle Course by SMC consulting.

Mil pers can most likely stay at the hotel on the base with 17 Wing. Very good rates.
YMMV

Yes, the only issue will be taking your rifles on and off the base, if you want to deal the the MPs then the base hotel is GTG.

We have also got a rate of $95/night at one of the casino hotels in the city which will put you close to the range and entertainment. :D

Have you and Big Red discussed the possibility of doing a Q & A or lecture style class
or somthing along these lines before or after the course? This would be somthing
that the those who are not M & P could attend and still get good accurate information?

What sort of class are you looking for?

Besides the range brief and explanation of drills, the majority of instruction will be hands on.

I would love to take a course like this, but I'm away august for my DP1 Inf course. Assuming this works out well, will you be running more courses in the fall and next year?

I'll be there, this should be a hoot. Even the Road Trip out could be interesting. Saskatoon is supposed to be a wicked party town. Here's hoping we don't get...distracted.

Overwhelming response so far with a good mix of Patricias (and Mo augmentees), Police Tac, and Corrections Tac.

If you are debating this, get your name in. There are only a couple of slots left as of this morning and this is shaping up to be a great course.

Corrections Tac. ???

Those inmates locked up are pretty dangerous. Watch out for that food riot.
Pretty lame way to get into a L.E / Mil only course.
You don't even need any of those shooting skills to do the job, You can't shoot an inmate armed with a piece of rolled up paper.

"Hi, I work corrections...I need to know how to kill an inmate better"........(When I am not on Strike)

Why not Mall Security then....they are wanna-be's too.

You need an attitude adjustment if you think so poorly of those who control inmates that threaten the society you and your family live in.

Have you got a hot clue as to what you're talking about?

If your purpose at CGN is to insult other peoples' profession, whether it is correction officer, security professional, the janitor that clean your office or hotdog vendor - I will be comfortable to extend our unwelcome to you on behalf of many here.

You should re-evaluate yourself ,whether you want to hang out here. You have no right to demean anyone. If you cannot control your disrepect, CGN is not here for you.

Big Red:

I realize you're at the preliminary stages, but do you forsee taking the course "on the road?"

I'd love to attend, but I'm restricted to the general area of Ontario at the moment.
