Basic Rifle Course by SMC consulting.

Absolutely incredible course, very safe, excellent instructor, excellent students, great range and things just ran fantastically smooth. Honestly this may be the start of a new religion.

A complete AAR and pics will follow. Suffice to say Big_Red ran a fantastic show that was very challenging but well tailored to the students.

Sorry, but photobucket won't let me enlarge them. Not sure why. Perhaps my technical ineptness I'm sure that Rauch will have full size pics when he posts his.
 
SMC basic rifle small AAR and review

Excellent course. day one included positions, stance, cover, firing around, under and thru cover, turning, and ended in pairs fire and movement.

day two included shooting on the move, failure drills, and some basic vehical and break contact drills.

overall it went very well, Big_Red is a great instructor with a wealth of knowledge, and the course progressed greatly. challenging to the guys newer to tactical style shooting, but without leaving them behind, confused, or causing safety issues. also was a great review and refresher to those of us who will be deploying very, very shortly. (myself, Fiveninerone, and one other member on the course.) and now, the obligitory pics.

I was running a DBT h harness, with TT, Paraclete, ATS, EGL, TAG, Emdom and BFG pouches. rifle was an LMT MRP CQB 16in.
