Considering the prices in the EE I may just pick another one up!
I hope they don't use the same "Bait N Switch" tactics that WallyMart does. 
2 items brought in for an "out of this world" sale and of course they sell right off the start.
The rest of the week they just tell you their "completely sold out" and try and pawn a more expensive item on you instead.

to give Bass Pro credit, my one firearm purchase with them was great. they were selling the Marlin 795 at 119.99 (after mail in rebate).
foolishly, i posted on this forum BEFORE i got mine, and the Vaughan location quicly sold out (not saying my posting and the sellout were connected, but sometimes i wonder).
BUT, the store did take names of interested people (don't think it was really an official 'rain check') and when they got more rifles in, i got the call, and after about 30min of paperwork at the store walked out with my new Marlin.
all in all, it was a very positive experience, and i could see they were trying to satisfy a lot of would-be customers.

They wont dso this. If they sell out, they issue rain cheques. You may have to wait, but you will get it eventually.

I saw a barreled receiver in the EE parts section for $300.00, and it was SPF! There are some killer deals on the EE but wow those 10/22's seem to fly off the shelf!

The general shooting public's slavish devotion to the 10/22 has made it without a doubt the most ridiculously priced used .22.
