'basic' ruger 10/22 is 229.94 at bass pro

The 10/22 is not a gun for all you guys that just want an out of the box, cheap, accurate shooter. That's what the Remmy's and Mossy's are for. These guns are for the guys who want to spend hours searching forums, online parts stores and every place in between trying to find the aftermarket parts to turn this rifle into exactly what they want in a rifle, be it tacticooled, tackdriver, compact, replica.....anything! The aftermarket is what makes the 10/22. If you don't want to "build" a gun that suits you and your personality, then the 10/22 is not for you! :D

As for the EE prices? Someones got to be paying them or they would start coming down. $230 for a new one might make me take a trip to bass pro, maybe I'll buy a few and part them out. :D

i bought it from bass pro. i was VERY happy with it. and after I bought it I found out the ENDLESS customization options for this. I ended up putting a tapco intrafuse stock on it and got it pimped out! couldnt be happier with it.

So instead of taking the call before going in advice, I went on over to Basspro and asked about the sale and....they have lots in stock. I am now a proud owner of the most basic 10/22 money can buy..well maybe... Came with a lock and scope mount. Bought a Butler Creek Steel Lips 25 round mag as well.
Now let the modding begin!

You just took the first step toward a very dark and sinister sickness.... f:P:2:

Have fun!....:D

shooters ridge is now selling the old ramline 30 rd. double stack mags. I picked one up but havent tried it yet. I have a ramline from when we first got my 10/22 back together after restoring it. The feed lips are pretty worn down from 1,000's of rds but it still runs good. The new one fits just the same as the old one, plus it has a removable door in the bottom for cleaning. They're nice because theyre half the size of a 25 rd mag

congrats! i just remember them having stock issues with Marlin 795s, so glad they have lots of Rugers.

i was there (Bass Pro) tonight with my kids... fortunately, they were tired and cranky, cuz if i'd had some time to peruse the gun counter, who knows what might have happened!

I was fortunate/unfortunate to have my wife and mother in law there so they took the girls downstairs and looked at clothes, quads and boats oh my!

there was a PINK quad there...fortunately my daughter didn't notice it....

'wife and mother-in-law'?!

oh wait, you mean 2 different people.... ; )
