Basic Savage - awesome group

Just a basic Model 11 FCXP in .223 with a Rifle Basix trigger from Mystic Precision and hand loads (50 grain Nosler Ballistic Tips with 25.0 grain of Varget with neck sized brass). The shots were taken off of a sandbag.

The bottom three shots are by Alex - a new shooter who tried my gun. I cannot fathom why he shot the target that I was busy doing an end zone happy dance about. At least his shots were well away from my group.

Love the Rifle Basix trigger I installed in my Stevens. The non Accutrigger Savages are frickin terrible. I'd compare the pull on the old one to my Mosin Nagant. Nice group!
