As others have posted, the sticky gives you some options on what to do. If you are running non-corrosive, the only concern is the gas system, no need for it to be pristine. It was made to widthstand anything reasonable you throw at it. Remember, most Soviet era SKS will have a chromed lined barrel, as does the Chinese, quick run through with a patch and solvent and you're good. Keep the gas port, piston, gas tube clean + debris free. \
if running corrosive, then while at the range, and rifle barrel still warm, I would wipe off the bolt face with patch saturated with water, then run a couple of water saturated patches down the bore to clean up the primer salts. You can always do the same for the gas tube and piston + port while at the range, only takes a few extra seconds, then clean as normal once you get home.
