Are any of you in the know as to wether they have any powders, bullets ect in Calgary? I'm heading there long weekend and just wanted to know if I can save some bucks buying there?
I was there on the weekend, not much of anything for reloading or ammo. I will be going Wednesday for a meeting, but I do not expect any change. If they get any in, I will post. Be prepared to go to the other guys....
Don't bother go to Russell Sporting Goods [FONT=ARIAL,HELVETICA]128, 8228 MACLEOD TRAIL S.
CALGARY, ALBERTA. The people behind the counter even know their products.
On the other hand... Bass Pro is a very pretty place.

Bass Pro has their powder in last I checked, but no license to sell it yet. It's really taking forever to get everything ironed out there. The shelves are empty again because everyone went there and bought them out!
WSS is pretty good for reloading stuff, but generally Russells is better IMO.
TSE also has a limited supply of reloading equipment.
I like to use Russell's for reloading supplies. All the bullets and brass are up front, so you can pick them out yourself and see what they have. I have never had any trouble getting someone's attention at the gun counter when I need powder or primers.
Pro Line Shooters is another good place to deal with. They even have once-fired brass.
WSS is the place you go to to wait 30 minutes to find out that they don't have what you want in stock, but they have 600 bottles of deer pee!
Time will tell whether Bass Pro is any good for reloading supplies.
when basspro first opened in toronto(or just north of here)..there reloading supplies was not bad...now they carry nothing in reloading supplies..
but i hear rumors,...that they will soon start again
