Batteries for range finder

My Bushnell 1500 ARC with a new battery will range fur out to 903yds, trees and buildings out to 1700+. Problem is it will only do this for a few shots then hardly go past 500. Im using Duracell from costco. Is there a better battery with a higher capacity and longer life out there I should be using?

Try to find a Lithium battery.

Try ebay. Something like this would give you a little more oomph.

try to find a battery world, theres one in edmonton. just type it in to google im sure they have a website. and they have a battery for everything
