Battery for a Bushnell Red Dot

I just got a used Bushnell Trophy Red Dot scope, but no battery. Does it matter about the part # of the battery or are they all the same ? I don't want to ruin this scope. I think it maybe a older model.

I think it was a 2032 button cell. Can't remember exactly, but it was a fairly common battery.

The trs-25 takes a 2032 battery however don't know if thats the rds you have. Liquidation superstore has them, 6 batteries for a buck!

Thats the ones I use, 2032 lithium 3v.

EBay is your friend. 20 batteries for $1 and they last a long time. Alot longer than the $3 ea. AC Delco junk available locally.

The only marking on the RD is "Bushnel Trophy" With a set of antlers inside crosshairs on the right side. I have two new 3 volt CR2450 batteries but I don't know if the wrong battery would ruin the RD or not.

CR2450 are a lithium 3 volt battery but very expensive, safe to use.

Thats great. I just bought these batteries for my welding helmet and then found out the helmet had a short in it. I figured I just wasted about $18 on batteries, but now I should be set for quite awhile. Thanks you Guy's

Nope, These batteries are too large. Must be one size down.

The number depends on the brand as some have a differren't number but will fit they say will fit X size though. Just get what it says because they won't fit if you get the wrong one.
