Battle Arms Development Ambidextrous Safety Selector

I don't see the logic behind the short throw lever. Flipping a standard AR selector from safe to repetition takes less time than making a decision to shoot, raising the weapon up and acquiring a sight picture.

A lot of people with shorter fingers/thumbs find it easier to safe. On the ambi side, the 'Short' lever at 45 degrees will also not come into contact with most trigger fingers (a big complaint of ambi's).

Ergonomics, mostly.

Just called Target Sports and I asked about it and they said they don't have it in stock. Either someone else bought it or I got the same guy that bfd365 got.

Was going to get that last one, then get another one for another build once TSE got them in.

Wasn't me... I'm not getting my AR until August or so. :p

i cant engage the regular 90* safety from safe to fire without moving my grip. with this new safety it's no problem. it's so much like a 1911 safety now :)
