Watched this movie tonight and was quite surprised at the accuracy of the weapons used by the combatants from Norway, France, Poland, England and Germany.

They were all correct for the time period and in excellent condition, other than those damaged in battle for the show.

Not a bad movie but toned down a lot for the squeamish among us.

Still, the weapons and kit were impressively displayed in their correct manner as issued.

People do what they have to do to get by during such times.

Some just take the easiest route, no matter the repercussions.

I've seen this happen with both men and women several times and often there's a ''reason'' behind the complicity, such as fear or repercussions or as in the case of the lady in the movie, the life of her child.

It's easy to point fingers at these individuals but for some their priorities don't rotate around ''nationalism''

Norway would have lots of German guns
They just left and didn't take anything with
them
Norway issued it to their own military

I was actually more interested in the Norwegian Krags and the French rifles which were also shown in the movie.

Probably a few real ones for close-ups and the rest were rubber guns, this was also done for Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers.

Came up as a recommended pic when I opened Netflix last night after getting bored watching the Canucks getting schooled by the Kracken.

Enjoyed the movie!

NAA.

All of the arms used appeared correct for the time period. Actually getting to see an M94 Krag in a movie was a first.

Netflix produced.

The quality was really good. The story wasn't inaccurate, and you the weapons and uniforms looked really good.

I felt they really toned down the destruction of the town. They didn't have to show it necessarily but it was a devastating battle that really did a lot of damage to the country and people, and it looked a bit unscathed at the end of the film versus the archival footage they featured themselves

The British had yet to land or arrive at this point in the movie; it’s within the first 20 minutes and before the first naval battles began.

Good grief, the Brits were sending clandestine firearms to the Nowegian resistance within a week after the Germans invaded.
