Battle of the 4x16x42mm BDC- Vortex vs Nikon

Hey guys, I'm so close to pulling the trigger on one of these two beauty rifle scopes.


Option 1- Vortex Diamonback HP 4x16x42mm (New this year)

> Both around the $500 dollar mark

Option 2 - Nikon Monarch 3 4x16x42mm

Any expeirience with these scopes gang? Both quality names and exact same specs , TOUGH choice haha
Mounting on a Savage 223, low leupold rings and one piece rail. For target shooting and a little varmit action.
