Has anyone used one of these supressors? Does anyone know where to find one in Canada?

It actually is a suppressor...

Flash suppressor yes.

Sound suppressor no.

I've only ever seen one up here, great for night shooting but I'm sure you would pay a heavy premium for one. I went with the Troy Claymore M/B as it helps direct blast and sound forward and still keeps the flash suppressed.

Maybe I need to expand my search for a good bit of steel at the end of my AR...

Here's what I would like;

1. Reduce Recoil as much as possible (please, no comments about the relative nature of recoil; I'm a deer hunter who has been loading .308 for more than a decade, I get it...) This is my highest priority.

2. Something that doesn't blow too much dirt around if I am shooting from prone or modified prone in SR.

3. Something that doesn't send too much concussive force along the line to the guys I"m competing with. This is my lowest priority.

I don't care about flash supression, really. It can leave a trail of flame like a flame thrower for all I care.

Ideas?

Get rid of item 3. It don't matter. If the next guy over is a wimp about to bad for him. Don't forget that the guy beside you will likely have a blasty brake too.

I'll shoot beside your blaster any day.

PRI Brake I had one on my AR and it was awesome.

It is definitely worse than an A2. By a fair amount. Also, shot a couple hundred rounds through one, no need to watch a video on it
