Bauch and laumb good?

I've done a side-by-side comparison between the 3-9x40 B&L 3000 and the 3-10x40 Elite 3200 outside. The Elite is brighter and sharper than the old 3000,plus it has the "Rainguard" coating.

I have the 4200 and it is a great scope. The 3200 and 4200 are the only lines that Bushnell kept when they bought the B&L line.

Heres one for ya...I have two 4200 2.5-10X40 's....one is a B&L and the other a Bushnell. Both are designated as 4200's, both have Rainguard....but the B&L is definitely clearer/brighter. I even compared with a buddy's Bushnell...same result. Leads me to believe that the B&L's were built with better glass?

i have had both scopes in 3000 series and the 3200 series. from what i have seen . is that the 3000 models had better internal parts inside of them .i know of many people who have had the 3200 series with nothing but troubles with them .and warrany is another headache.better to go with leupold /sightron .weaver and nikon .

B&L Scopes

Several of my rifles sport Bausch & Lombe Elite 3000 3-9x40mm scopes. Always found them to be excellent. My Browning A-bolt .300 Win Mag has an Elite 4000 3.5-10x40mm on it. Same thing.
