I recently posted that I had ordered a pair of these, here is an update and photos in comparison to Tapco.

With some minor filing, they fit great in my Tapco Chinese SKS. Filing was mainly just needed on the spine above the mag catch to allow the bolt catch to drop freely when the feeding ramp is depressed.

My 50 Tula wasn't liking the mags, but that rifle has a difficult time with aftermarket mags. I could make it work, but I would end up filing beyond the level my Chinese rifle required, throwing that rifles fit off with the mag.
I have one Tapco mag that fits that gun, so I'm leaving them paired together and use clips to load it as I did before.

Taking snap caps well. I have a decent amount of experience fitting these types of mags. Ive done enough to know each fit and function is different per rifle. Feed lip filing is sometimes needed after a trip to the range.

I ordered 3 and was impressed with them,so I ordered another 3 yesterday!
I have my Chinese from Marstar in the same colour ATI stock lol, also just ordered some Russian AK mag pouches from ebay last night to keep them in.
They feed from the stripper clips, and chamber fine I found.

Hmm... I have a few Tapco mags and they work well in my SKS, but I found a place in Ottawa that has these Baur mags, might have to give them a try...

Well, after months of these mags not performing properly I took another look at them.

Problem wss that after firing the 3rd round, the mag would eject the spent casing AS WELL AS the live 4th round.
I found that the feeding ramp had way too much tension possibly making the ramp raise too quickly throwing the extra round out of the action.
The lips on these mags are also weaker than the Tapco, so they would separate/widen under the pressure of the too eager spring.

So, I opened the mag up and cut off approx 3.5 coils of the spring, re-bent the bottom attachment and sealed it back up.
It's seems better tension wise, more on par with the Tapco at least.
Range time will reveal true function.
