Bausch and Lomb 4000

Hey,

Was just wondering if anyone had any experience with Bausch and Lomb 4000 (this one happens to be a 2.5-10x40mm). Are they good quality? Any warranty issues? Basically I don't have one and don't know anyone that does, and am looking at a package rifle with it mounted so I wanted to hear about everyone's experience with them.

They are the predecessors to the Bushnell 4200... Same scope, without the Rainguard. I would expect that Bushnell now assumes the warranty for these scopes. They are quality scopes, BTW

I had one of the first ones. It took years to break, but I managed to do it. Eye-relief is a tad short for heavy kickers.
Warranty issues will be the same as any bushnel, normally a 3 month wait.

I have one on my .378 wby with no problems. good quaulity for the money.

I've had one (1.5-6x36) for years. It has been swapped between a couple 30-06's, a 308, and a Ruger Ranch Rifle, and now resides on my 50cal muzzleloader. I've never had any issues with it.

I have one on my 300 mag, awsome and yes they are the Bushnell 4200 scopes without rainguard. I would highly recommend them.
