Bayard damascus double barreled shotgun..

I am trying to locate some information about the maker / retailer of this shotgun. It has beautiful damascus barrels with external hammers. It is Belgium proofed. Sorry...no photos as I am not interested in opinions regarding condition. Dave

Bayard was first and foremost a maker of small martial semiauto pistols, popular with Austro-Hungarian/Prussian officers. They teamed with Bergmann to make some unique,rare, and expensive pistols. As far as I know(and I'm no expert) they became Pieper, and i'm sure they would be one of the better Belgian makers, as the poor ones used mainly British names to sell guns. Should be on a par with some of the early British guns like my Nock, which i shoot every chance i get.
