There is a guy in the EE looking to buy a P07 bayo. I happen to have a 1943 Royal Navy issue one that I might consider selling him. It is in a P17 scabbard with the belt hanger ground off. The parkerizing is still pretty much all there. The wooden grips were never filed to fit, and stand really proud. I am guessing it was never issued. I have 2 questions:

1) Is this an especially rare specimen? Am I crazy to consider selling it?
2) What would be a reasonable price to ask for it?

Sounds more like it might have been cobbled together out of parts. However, those bayonets are running between $125 and $150ish depending on condition and who is selling. John Denner lists 'em at that kind of money. Mind you, he sells nothing but high end stuff.

1. Not really, from your description it is a WW2 re-arsenaled and parkerised example in a mismatched scabbard, they seldom made the grips smooth with the steel when re-worked.
2. $100

A common Wilkinson Sword made example with the original blued finish, non grinding wheel shapen blade and correct scabbard would sell for about $150 to $175 in VGC.
