bayonet on or off

I have read that all Russian rifles are sighted in and designed to fire with the bayonet out in the battle position.

That is what I have read also. The harmonics of the barrel & ammo are set up for the bayonet out. I have seen a member of our club try both ways & the bayonet out gives better groups. I never thought it would matter. Obviously it does.

For better accuracy take off the bayo and cleaning rod, since they rattle around when you fire.

Well, ain't that a kick in the head, i'm going to test this when i try out my SKS for the first time.
