I have an enfield No.4, mk 1. I have an idea where I can get an original stock for it, but does anyone have an idea what kind of bayonet was made for them, and where a fella might find one ?

Depending on the era of your No.4, only the cruciform and spike bayonets are WW2 correct.
^ correct! I got all excited when we started talking about BayosThe bladed bayonet was introduced near the end of the European conflict, (late 1944?) The No7Mk1 was 1958 (I think? check it.) Then the British commonwealth were using the FN.
Fourth option...

NO7 MK1/L
Not as rare as the NO4 MK1 cruciform bayonet, but I've only ever seen (and bought) two. The one above cost me $300 but it's in immaculate condition.
