Bayonet

SKS front sights are easy to re just so it really doesn't matter.

I guess one could try it and see before fiddling with it.

But I doubt they get to test fires them, and adjust for wind age etc in the factory.

Prob' more like so many turns of the wrench in this direction while daydreaming of a bowl of rice and salty noodles for lunch. :D

Actually anything attached or removed from the barrel will make a difference to the barrel harmonics.

I'm just not sure what the formula is with the SKS.

More range testing is needed. :dancingbanana:

Is it the general feeling the gun is more accurate with or without the bayonet. I have the original stock and a monte carlo. As a shooter I prefer the monte carlo stock. The bayonet just adds weight to the gun for bush carry so I have removed it. Thoughts?

Makes sense if one considers the standard military doctrine of the Chinese, and Russians is to swarm their enemy.
