My father was given a plastic box of 6mm BB Cap's their made by Flobert-Patronen made in Germany i have a picture but i now see that i can't post it the're case is almost the same length as a beer bottle cap is tall and there accurate out of a 22. Does annyone know what these are for, their purpose or annything abought them neither of us has seen them before or seen them for sale or know annything of them their real quiet and there's less powder in them than in a short annyone seen these?

I fired these from a little cooey mod 39 .22 just for yucks. They are good for teaching a kid to shoot/gun safety or plinking nice and quietly. Cheap, reduced danger area, quiet, other than that, just something unique.

They got the little acorn on the bottom? I believe its just a primer charge firing a round ball. I used to shoot them out of a Savage model 24. Shot dozens of starlings off my moms bird feeder, I even shot a grouse one time at about ten feet. CB's or a good pellet rifle is way better!. The thing was that they would get stuck in the chamber and are very dirty. I would only use them in an easy to clean gun. I'll agree it is unique.

They have the acorn on the bottom and the primer is real soft and is bent more by the fireing pin than i ever seen one bend i must take one apart to find out but now that you's mention it it sound's just like a primer i fired a 20 shotgun shell primer just to hear what it sounded like and these are alot like it.

Haven't seen one stick in the chaimber yet but they away's stick to the bolt of the single shot cooey we've shot them out of
