BB Caps

ive not seen real cb caps for or bb caps for a bit now ive seen cb shorts and longs though

i think S&B makes real CB caps not bb caps and i know RWS makes bb caps look for deals with this ammo maybe they can get some for you

Best Buy Sports in the maritimes has them in stock ,$17 for a tin of 100 , and you have a choice of lead bb or copper bb ,I find them to be effective on squirrels at short distances . I`m getting 750 fps with the lead bb, which weigh 14 gr., using my JW15 with a 24 inch barrel

LOL BB CAPS RIMFIRE, not BB's.

I have a ton of RWS CB Caps, but only a handfull of BB Caps left. Other than ordering from the US which is a pain i cant find any local

Strangeday, 22 rimfire BB caps are available at BestBuySports and they are made by Sellier& Bellot and you can get them with either a lead or a copper BB , have a look at the Sellier&Bellot web site.

tried googling a website...no luck do you have a link

I checked SELLIER & BELLOT'S PAGE...those are CB Caps with a small charge. I'll keep looking

I bought some last summer at
Exeter Sporting Goods Ltd

320 Birch Ave, 100 Mile House, BC V0K 2E0

Don't know if they do mail order, likely expensive. Chilcotin Guns in Williams Lk. had some awhile back
Their about as quiet as it gets. CB are as loud as a 22 short

In my early misspent youth, I experimented by adding various amounts of powder (measured on a reloading scale) from a 22 cartridge to a BB cap. Then shooting it into a phone book and counting pages of penetration. In the basement of course.

Might have even been a school project.

I just pulled apart a CCI CB long (29gr, 710fps) and it does have powder in it. That said they also sound about like a pellet gun when you shoot them and the sound of the bullet impact on the tree behind the squirrel after it made a nice little hole in him seems to be the loudest part. Shot from a marlin 981t and the shorts appear to be identical apart from case length.

Also someone now owes me $0.10. :p
