I'm suffering from nostalgia, back in the 60's, I used to run around the farm with my older brother's Daisy "Targeteer" bb pistol. Back then, (I was 8 to 10 years old) I felt like I was ready to take on anything that came my way, black bear, cougars, packs of coyotes, I feared nothing! Fortunately I never crossed paths with any of them to have to prove myself. Well that was almost 50 years ago and after a life time of shooting everything from .17's to .50's, I have a craving for a bb pistol. That's where you guys come in, what is a good solid bb pistol, I don't want something that looks like a desert eagle or a model 29 smith, just a nice simple little pistol, reliable, fun. Could be CO2, but would prefer pneumatic. Thanks for listening to my ramble, and appreciate your advice.

Not a BB pistol, but a pellet pistol. I bought a "American Classic .22" pellet gun. Also available in .177. Pump action. I bought it and used it for grouse hunting this past fall while deer hunting as to the noise factor so as not to scare the deer. 10 pumps supposedly gives it the max speed of 465. I think the .177 is rated at 495. (Can't remember what the letter's are after the number's. LOL). I bought mine at Cabella's but see them at Canadian Tire also. I have also seen them at Princess Auto. I paid $89.99 for mine. The 1322/1377 are the same pistols as stated a couple of posts below.

Not a BB gun, but it is a great value. The Beeman P17 is a single stroke pneumatic pistol. They run about $60, shoot around 400fps. They are a Chinese copy of the German Weihrauch HW40/Beeman P3. Great gun, accurate, good trigger, easy to fix if they get a leak, great basement plinker, outdoor pop can killer.
I find BB guns can be fun, but they get old quick. They aren't that accurate, they ricochet like crazy and CO2 adds to the cost of shooting (most fun ones are CO2, CO2 also sucks in cold weather due to pressure drop). Pellet guns are more accurate, I can spend hours target shooting. The 1377/1322 are great guns as mentioned, they require up to 10 pumps for full power, but indoor shooting takes about 4 pumps. The variable power is nice for a pistol.
