Lots of people must have agreed with you. Pearl grips were a really popular upgrade for a lot of years.
I had never heard the expression BBQ gun before. I guess this would be mine, but I really wouldn't holster it....And I have no idea why it got rotated 180 degrees....??

Just added a new Colt to the fold. A 380 Lady Colt. Won't have it in hand for a couple weeks, but here is a stock picture of one.

That’s a beauty ! Love that it’s in 380 too . Where did you get that ?
I still have the magazine , I think it’s Guns and Ammo , from about 2015 with a feature story and cover on Kimbers Barbecue Guns .
Awesome article and beauty guns featured , I’ll have to dig that mag up .
I have lots of handguns, but never bought one for its looks. So if I had to wear one at the BBG, I think this is the only one I have that looks "nice":

I see a factory comp = that why front sight is so dirty
but whole gun is dirty too

Bought at the last Wards Auction. I really like the size of the these, a little bigger than the Mustang, but smaller than an Officer model. On top of that the inlays are beautiful. I'm not really a fan of the grips, so will upgrade those.
I remember that article as well. Kimber does turn out some njce looking guns. A little sad to hear their quality has come down somewhat. That with their use of quite a few MIM parts kind of reduces what the brand once was. But they are trying to produce a somewhat better than average gun at a price point most can afford. As is usual, cost containment and quality are at odds with each other.
