I saw one guy with a decent camera snapping pics between his stages. I hope he posts some up.

That'd be illae; his site's called Skin and Bones and he did all the great pictures on the Action League site from the previous match. I'm sure he'll have some up soon.

As a guy who is still a very new firearms enthusiast, what pre-requisites does a guy need to participate in these events?

Semi rifle with sling and 4x 5rnd mags.
Pistol with holster and 2x 10rnd mags.
Eye and ear protection and a method of carrying the mags down range.

And a damn pen!
