BC Hunting Laws etc.

I am new to hunting and want to rely on wild meat for the protein in my diet. I live on Vancouver Island and I would like to know when, where and what I can hunt on southern Vancouver Island. All info is appreciated as I know practically nothing at the moment. Also, how/where does on learn to butcher animals from A-Z?

Go to your sporting goods store, grab a copy of the hunting & trapping synopsis and talk with the clerk/owner.
