Glad you got the doe draw 'Boo. My brother decided to put in for elk on Vancouver Island...and he got it! He is in your situation, as it is right in his back yard.

I, on the other hand, continue to soldier on with exceptionally bad luck. In 25 years I've won two moose draws, a whitetail doe and an elk calf (undersubscribed). Three of us put in for moose in a 2.9:1 area and came up with nothing.

I did get a Mule Deer doe draw in 3-46????? Did I even put in for that? Yes, aparently it was my second choice. Go figure.

No, unless you want a decent chance at shooting a moose.

GOS can be a gong show. At least with LEH you have a chance of hunting a cut block in peace without every yahoo zooming past in the trucks and on their Quads.

Luckily I got a Shared cow/calf draw up there.........first moose draw in 10+ years

Well, my horseshoe is, apparently, still firmly in place.
Cow moose close to home.
Missed on the Bison, Elk and MD draw.
No problem. The Elk will fall in the GOS.
Muleys and Whitetails are generally not a problem just a bit Northeast.
