I reviewed the B.C, 2022 LEH and to put it mildly it pisses me off.
For a moment I will talk about the Guiding in B.C. I've sat in on these public meetings with Gov't over the years and going back almost 40 years it's always been the guides wanting to reduce the OPEN Seasons for resident hunters.
Finally they have achieved their goal, almost no moose hunting for resident hunters, BUT guides can bring in foreign hunters and sell the moose hunting to them.

IT IS MY OPINION GUIDING SHOULD BE ELIMINATED, ( by the way I did not hear of any reduction in the number of permits issued to the guides) .
The other group, a topic for another day.

I agree, first off it encourages trophy hunting, no one’s paying thousands and thousands for a meat hunt
Secondly there is no way in hell foreign hunters with money should be a priority over locals filling their freezers.
Third if you can’t figure out things on your own, tough titty.

I think a lot of guys who hunt the October region 6 any bull general open season are gonna be very upset when the regulations come out.
One thing I notice is that region 6 LEH in management units that I have hunted in that general open season that started on the 20th and was reduced to 3 days the previous couple seasons.... the LEH now starts on the 20th and all those regions now have increased tag numbers in the LEH. So I would be willing to bet that the general open season is no more.

Guess we will see how this plays out but I can tell you this...... If hunters , sports shooters and fishermen as well as other back country users like dirt bike /atv/snowmobile users don't start getting involved in BC politics..... all these fun past times will be gone from our lives in a surprisingly short time

people need to get educated. The Blueberry Band did not ask for this. The Blueberry Band made a public declaration in the media soon after John Horgan released these lies as his excuse for messing with BC hunting for Residents and Metis. John Horgan and his minister are lying to the public and made this all up on their own.

Dont anyone go blaming the natives for this. This is ALL John Horgan's NDP.

Sorry to burst your bubble but yes the blueberry Indians sued the government and won.
