BC leh results are out

Went for elk and moose but no luck. Thought my chances might be good because it has been about seven years since the last application. Well we all know what 'thought' did.

That is crazy, considering you get reduced odds for 3 years if you get drawn. I've had 3 moose draws total in +25 years. And no, not putting in in the Kootenays or other crazy odds places.
 
got same draw as last year , shared moose hunt region 6 but with the wife this time and she also got a doe tag for region 2.

struck out on my doe, 2 bison tags and 2 elk tags.

Not too bad I guess but this will still be the last season we support the LEH system.
 
Does anyone here have any insight in hunting 5-15 C for moose please?

I thought I'd give a a new area a try. I've been on hunts in Region 6, 7 and other parts of 5 before but thought the Likely area was um....Likely.

So you'd rather not even have a chance at those hunts? Serious question. I see a few people saying things like they're not going to put in for leh anymore, but at $6 a try its cheaper than a lotto ticket and the odds are (literally) a million times better...

What dates did you get your draw for? Spanish Lake is a good start . 5-15c is a very good area!

I 100% totally agree with your ideology.
Never ever got a doe draw since the beginning of my hunting escapades.
And there have been more than a few decades.
One year they/them decided to chase me on my lack of filling out and sending
in a questionnaire.
The colour of them repeat forms informed me that failing to fill them in and sending
them in will deter any further LEH app's I apply for.
The rebuttal on my part was fierce.
Lord and behold, I was accepted for a doe draw the following year.
I quit applying for them since then.
Toilet wipes is all they are.

Good luck as I refuse to support a convoluted fiasco such as this.
