I got my moose draw for region 6-9 for the rut so I am excited.

I drew a Bull Moose tag August 15 - September 30 Close to home, too.
Single Application, too. I am stoked. Practically a "slam-dunk"
Missed the elk, so will have to hunt GOS for that. Dave.

Well.... I wasn't gonna put in for LEH anymore and skipped last year but the wife insisted this year.

as luck would have it..... the wife and I both pulled moose tags but the site keeps giving me errors when I click on the authorizations. Either 6-8 or 6-9 late draw..... not close to home but that's okay with me.

This is the first year of the closing the open season for moose in the Peace.
No one I know has been awarded a tag. Makes me wonder how many people are going to fill their freezers anyway.
It’s hard to tell people that have been hunting in this area their entire life that they have to buy their meat from Safeway.

Shut down on moose now that we are on a LEH here, no late season cow elk either, but I did get my goat draw which at least will be the most fun and adventure of the 3 but far and away the least amount of meat in the freezer.

Sense of entitlement is way worse in smaller towns than big cities

It worked for me when i went back and tried again. I put in for 6-6 late draw for first and 6-8 late draw for 6-8. Then my wife put in for late draw 6-8 and 2nd choice 6-6....... I got my 2nd choice draw in 6-8 and she got her first choice draw in 6-8...... kinda scratching my head over that one.
nobody else I've talked to yet has gotten any luck yet.... still waiting to talk to others.
Time to start squirelling some fuel money away LOL
