Anyone know of or can recommend where to get the CORE course done on a Saturday/Sunday?

There's 3 of us interested in getting the course done.

Cheers!

Funny! That's my plan B. Only downside, for the rest of the party anyways, is that the course takes place on Monday, Wed, Thursday...

There's always silver core in tilbury but I don't know there schedule

There's also a place by the "hook n ladder" pub 132st at 86ave I think

I think Silvercore are the only ones with a weekend course. I wanted a weekend course but didn't want to drive out to Delta or where ever Silver was teaching out of so went with the Goldsack's a 10min drive away during the week.

You could always just grab the manual, read it, and challenge the test. I grew up in scouting so i already knew everything but animal identification though, so i knew taking the course would be redundant.

That's what i did, only cost $10.50 plus the fees you pay once you pass.

I challenged my test at the Silvercore office on a Friday afternoon.

I don't know about CORE's but Silvercore does PAL courses all over the Greater Vancouver area, I did mine at the Croatian Cultural Center

check out West Coast Instructions or call Wanstalls and ask them about CORE, the owner of Wanstalls does the CORE course and owns West Coast Instructions..

This is right up my alley! Where does one get the manual?

Frankly, don't really want to pay 140-200bucks!

I googled the manual from home and have a pdf copy on my desktop, I'm out of the house atm, but I can post where I found it when I get home if no one finds it beforehand.

Wonderful! I'd appreciate that.

Via a 2 second search on Google, I came up with this. Is this information up to date and relevant for 2015?

Post was made in 2012

For anyone else interested, this link seems to work better.
