Just got an email from Pitcairn and they have had to postpone it 'til next weekend.... I'm out.

Who's goin'?

Fripp is pyssed and out for revenge... Benge has licked his wounds and promises to be a tour de force.

Me? I'm just hoping not to be too hung-over.

Hi guys, can't make this one but at least I know you'll have another chance to get them markers whipped into shape for the Big One at the end of July. Good Luck. Make sure Tom has his glasses. Maybe pass out a couple of pairs in the butts too.

Cheers, Glen

Sorry to hear you won't be there Glen, but then maybe that gives the rest of us a better chance! Who do I have to pay to get squadded with you at the Provincials?? Amazing I could hit anything while I was laughing so hard! (not AT you, but WITH you!!)

Ian I'd love to get there even just for the laughs but I've got myself between a rock and a hard place. First the transplanted APRA Prov's at Sask, then mid July the Sask Prov's then the end of july, the BC Prov's, then down to Oregon for the rest of the BC-PNW thing. I'm hoping our damn road gets fixed so I can stay a bit closer to home for at least a month. Then you guys can all come over for the APRA Palma. I can squad us together but then they'll split us up. To much laughing. Causes a distraction to those that don't laugh.

Cheers, Glen

Ian, looks like I made a good selection for a change. We're shooting the Sask Prov's this weekend and just got done the Palma. Ton's of good old Prairie wind. We went and shot from the 11 and 1200 yd firing points after. that was a whole bunch of fun and worth the trip alone. Got the 284 and some Bergers just smokin'. I'm going to fool everyone and shoot a sling and irons for the grand.
I might even be able to get to the LMR shoot if they keep screwing you guys over. Boy, after cyanide gets done with that target puller, you should sic him on the Boys in the gang that hold the purse strings and go get your own damn range instead of pissing with the greenies at Vokes.

Cheers, Glen

I'll be there,

Ian, scrap the haying and get ur ass down there....won't be the same without you.....think about it.....Fripp and I hanging out....just us...and a bottle of Fireball!!! YIKES!!!!

The "greenies" are nice enough to let us use one of the most beautiful ranges in Canada for free and all we have to do is clean up whatever mess we create. We have a pretty good thing going here.:D

PH Mike, you probably don't know me well because, them that do know I don't take anything very seriously. I'm just poking a bit at the need to deal with whomever, when it comes to range use and cancelled matches. We had the same issues here until the DND closed it...... permanent. Then we got our own.
Didn't you all have a thousand yard range on the Island? What happened there?

I agree Vokes range is in a stunning area and it's typical of military facilities in regards to layout, maintenance and grounds keeping. It is challenging and a fun place to shoot, however, it's missing the additional 300m of distance for a fullbore full meal deal.

Cheers, Glen

I know who you are, my shooting partner Brian speaks really highly of you. I'm only joking too, all is good. The 1000 yarder we have on the island is called Heal's range. It has been knocked down to 600m by the Navy in 1996. Then the base commander at the time who lives on the road behind the range got it knocked to 400 and got us kicked out. I have been working to get it stretched out back to 1000 since I got here 4 years ago. It is a long uphill battle that I will continue until the Liberals disarm us or cause western separation, then I can keep at it.

My wish, were I to win a lottery, is to buy a golf course and turn it into a range. Not to put off my golfing friends... just my bias.

Couldn't agree more. Always figured a sport that combined golf with skeet shooting would be really fun.... there would be those that hit the targets up and those that shoot the targets down. Tiger Woods THAT!
